Job summary

A water management company based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced engineer to develop design documents and technical specifications. The successful candidate will coordinate STP designs, manage tender documentation, and conduct technical assessments. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience in sewerage systems are required, alongside strong interpersonal and communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Environmental.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience related to sewerage systems.
• Good command of both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.

• Develop design document and technical specification for industrial standards.
• Coordinate and review STP design and engineering proposals.
• Manage design work and prepare tender documentation.
• Conduct technical assessments and troubleshoot engineering works.

Job description

Develop design document and technical specification for standardization to be adopted as industrial standard.

Coordinate, review and/or STP design and other engineering design project proposals.

Manage design work / prepare tender documentation for related engineering works and conduct site investigation.

Conduct technical assessment/review and troubleshooting engineering related works.

Design review and/ or provide technical inputs for special government project or mega project.

Involved in Special IWK project waste to wealth initiative such as Water Reclaimed Plant and Industrial Effluent.

Supervise soil investigation & engineering survey works.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Environmental from a recognized University.

Minimum 5 years’ working experience related to sewerage systems.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Good command of both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
