Employee Engagement & Learning Specialist

The Employee Engagement & Learning Specialist is responsible for building a positive, high-performance workplace by driving engagement initiatives, strengthening company culture, and supporting capability development across the organisation. You will manage company-wide engagement programs, learning calendars, onboarding culture sessions, and campaigns that reinforce BJAK's values and employee experience.

This role requires creativity, strong coordination skills, and the ability to translate people insights into programs that improve morale, connection, and performance.

What You’ll Lead
1. Engagement Programs & Events
  • Own and manage the company-wide engagement calendar (festive events, team activities, townhalls, CSR, celebrations).
  • Plan and execute end-to-end engagement events, ensuring strong participation and positive employee experience.
  • Support cross‑department initiatives such as hackathons, career fairs, and community events.
2. Learning & Development
  • Maintain the training calendar, track attendance, completion rates, and measure training ROI.
  • Plan, organise, and execute learning programs across technical, soft skills, and leadership topics.
  • Coordinate with managers, trainers, and external partners for training needs and delivery.
  • Support managers with tools and frameworks for performance, coaching, and development.
3. Culture Building
  • Run onboarding culture sessions to introduce new hires to BJAK’s values, ways of working, and expectations.
  • Lead culture‑building activities such as value reinforcement campaigns, recognition programmes, and feedback channels.
  • Collaborate with People Ops & Culture Lead to embed values into daily practices and employee rituals.
4. Data, Insights & Improvement
  • Track engagement metrics, L&D participation, event feedback, and cultural health indicators.
  • Use insights to improve program quality, participation and impact.
  • Ensure all activities align with company culture, business needs and employee experience goals.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in employee engagement, L&D, culture, or HR programmes.
  • Strong event planning, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Creativity and passion for building positive employee experiences.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple programmes and timelines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Familiarity with training coordination, LMS/HRIS or engagement tools is a plus.
  • A proactive, energetic and people‑first mindset.
