Job summary

A leading elevator service provider in Johor Bahru seeks an experienced professional for elevator testing and commissioning. Candidates should possess 7-10 years in T&C or service, with a strong understanding of controller logic, safety tests, and the ability to read electrical schematics. This role requires good communication skills and the capability to handle T&C independently while coordinating closely with teams. Occasional travel across Penang, Perak, and Kedah is necessary.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years experience in elevator testing and commissioning or service.
• Strong understanding of safety tests and related standards.
• Able to read electrical schematics and installation drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform full testing and commissioning of elevators after installation.
• Conduct QC inspections prior to handover.
• Diagnose issues and perform fault finding & troubleshooting.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full testing and commissioning of elevators after installation
• Set controller parameters, run safety tests, and complete T&C checklists
• Conduct QC inspections prior to handover
• Support the installation team with technical guidance when required
• Diagnose issues and perform fault finding & troubleshooting
• Provide daily progress updates through JotForm or the assigned reporting system
• Coordinate with HQ and project teams for scheduling, documentation, and approvals

Required Skills & Experience

• 7-10 years experience in elevator T&C or service
• Strong understanding of controller logic, parameter settings, safety tests, and standards
• Able to read wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and installation drawings
• Hands‑on experience with gearless and MRL systems
• Good communication skills and customer interaction ability
• Must be able to travel across Penang, Perak, and Kedah and other northern parts.

Additional Requirements

• Must strictly follow safety and PPE requirements.
• Should be capable of handling T&C independently
• Must coordinate closely with the North installation team and HQ.
