Position Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring machines are operated at optimized and reliable condition, by developing and executing proper preventive and predictive maintenance. The Engineer is also responsible for achieving Maintenance KPI in terms of % downtime and mean time between failure (MTBF). The Engineer handles emergency unplanned breakdowns and provides technical solutions. The Engineer analyzes the replacement of machine parts and spare part stock availability, ensuring critical spare parts or frequently changed spare parts are available anytime for any emergency unplanned downtime or planned maintenance. The Engineer must ensure all repair / upgrade jobs are carried out under safe conditions that do not create any unsafe act or unsafe condition to himself or others. The Engineer will assign and supervise a team of technicians and ensure all tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner.

Duties

1. Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
2. Supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner.
3. Continuously improve work methods to reduce unplanned downtime (UPDT), mean time between failure (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR).
4. Handle emergency unplanned breakdowns, with a 24‑hour, 7‑day commitment and be prepared to “call out” at any time.
5. Perform root cause analysis on process interruption incidents and complete non‑conformance (NC) in Trackwise application.
6. Provide technical solutions related to machine breakdown issues.
7. Provide analysis of critical spare parts and spare part stock control using PM tools to CMMS.
8. Manage a safe working environment that achieves the target of zero accidents.
9. Plan, direct and coordinate process improvement, maintenance of equipment and machinery according to engineering principles and safety regulations.

Education Degree

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Management

Required Experience

1. Engineering related skills, industrial automation, specializing in Siemens PLC & SCADA.
2. Knowledge or experience in switching, RF and high frequency oscillator circuits preferred.
3. Knowledge or experience in HSE procedure/rules and regulations and COSHH requirements.
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
