Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and guide hardware implementation activities, including design, construction, testing, and operation of customer equipment.
  • Collaborate to meet agreed standards for quality, safety, and performance during on-site implementation processes.
  • Create plans, drawings, and specifications aligned with customer needs and contractual obligations.
  • Integrate electronic and mechanical components during installation of customer electro‑mechanical systems.
  • Participate in cross‑functional teams to define requirements, assess feasibility, and develop solutions that meet project needs.
  • Work primarily on-site with potential for flexible arrangements where feasible.
  • Share expertise in electro‑mechanical systems or related fields and provide guidance to team members to foster growth.
  • Contribute to decision‑making processes, anticipate dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, and propose improvements to enhance delivery and efficiency.
  • Actively participate in transversal projects and ensure accountability for team commitments.
  • Work independently within established plans, seeking guidance for highly complex situations when needed.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous airport experience is essential.
  • Background in baggage systems engineering is advantageous.
  • Hands‑on experience in hardware engineering and electro‑mechanical solutions.
  • Specialized technical and functional knowledge in electro‑mechanical systems, especially airport customer self‑service solutions.
  • Familiarity with Common Use Self Service (CUSS) and passenger processing systems.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to collaborate effectively in a global environment.
  • Works independently while collaborating effectively in complex scenarios.
