A leading electrical services company located in Kuala Terengganu is seeking an experienced technician to install and maintain electrical systems. The role includes troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting junior team members. (PW2 certification is an added advantage)
Install electrical systems, components, and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Set up wiring, conduits, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians during the installation process.
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including wiring problems, component failures, and system malfunctions.
Replace faulty parts and components, ensuring minimal downtime.
Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems using various testing devices and tools.
Interpret and analyse electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to diagnose issues.
Implement effective solutions to resolve electrical issues promptly.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working with electrical systems.
Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety guidelines to prevent accidents.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Prepare detailed reports on electrical system performance, issues, and resolutions.
Update technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and schematics, as needed.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments.
Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices on electrical systems and safety practices.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
