Job summary

The role includes developing and implementing EHS programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Job responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.
  • Provide EHS training and education to employees, contractors, and stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and trends to senior management.
  • Manage emergency response plans and coordinate drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and external auditors to ensure compliance and address any EHS-related inquiries.
Job requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably within the data center or technology industry.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001.
  • Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
