The Education Counsellor is responsible for guiding and supporting prospective students in selecting academic programs that align with their interests, qualifications, and career goals. This role requires a deep understanding of each student’s background, providing accurate information on courses, fees, scholarships, and admission requirements, while assisting them throughout the application and enrollment process.

Additionally, the Education Counsellor plays an active role in student recruitment activities, including marketing initiatives, school visits, and education fairs. The position contributes directly to achieving the university’s enrollment targets and enhancing its reputation as a preferred higher education institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide prospective students in identifying and selecting suitable academic programs.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on program details, entry requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and financial aid.
  • Support students throughout the application, admission, and enrollment process.
  • Conduct individual and group counselling sessions for students and parents.
  • Actively participate in education fairs, school visits, and outreach events to promote programs and strengthen brand awareness.
  • Manage, track, and follow up on student inquiries to maximize conversion rates.
  • Maintain organized records of student leads, applications, and registrations using CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and academic teams to improve recruitment strategies.
  • Contribute to team objectives while managing individual performance effectively.
  • Stay updated on academic offerings, entry policies, scholarships, and industry trends.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on progress, challenges, and outcomes to management.
