Job summary

A grocery delivery service in Selangor is looking for a driver to transport materials and staff safely and timely. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Get to know the role:

To transport superior in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. Also to transport materials and company staff to and from specific locations. Planning each route based on road and traffic conditions. Drivers are to ascertain that company vehicles are kept cleaned and maintained on a constant basis. Maintain professional decorum throughout working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving company vehicles at the direction of the superior.
• Maintain the vehicle safe and clean, monthly wash.
• Carrying out maintenance, scheduling vehicle service appointments promptly.
• Collection and delivery of items where clerical work is not required.
• Ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy, correctly loaded and complying with the law.
• Where required, to assist the outlet staff to load and unload.
• Facilitate pickups for company visitors, managers and outlet staff, etc as when directed.
• Any other similar duties as instructed by Office Services from time to time.
• Drive safely and cautiously to the required destination.
• Well versed and familiarised with all roads and junctions and ensure sending or arriving on a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
• To go outstation when required.

You should have:

• Candidates must possess a valid GDL or Class E driving license at minimum.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience is required for this position.
• Basic proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to follow instructions given by the supervisor.
• Physically healthy, including good vision and hearing.
