Be part of a fast-growing team supporting major urban development projects in Kuala Lumpur. We are looking for a detail-oriented Drafter who is passionate about transforming field data into accurate, clear, and professional underground utility drawings.

📝 Position Overview

The Drafter for Underground Utility Mapping is responsible for producing accurate technical drawings, plans, and maps of underground utilities such as water, sewer, electrical, gas, and telecommunication lines. You will work closely with surveyors and GIS teams to convert field data into clear, standardized drawings for project documentation, submission, and reporting.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and finalize CAD drawings and utility maps based on survey data, as-built information, and design requirements.

• Convert raw field data (from total stations, GNSS, GPR, etc.) into accurate underground utility layouts.

• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, client requirements, and applicable regulatory specifications.

• Maintain organized drawing files, layers, and reference data to ensure easy retrieval and quality assurance.

• Assist surveyors and engineers in visualizing underground networks for planning and construction activities.

• Perform drawing quality checks to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies, and update drawings for revisions, relocations, or new information from site verification.

• Generate utility maps, cross-sections, and detailed plans for submission; coordinate with surveyors, GIS teams, and project managers to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

• Certificate/Diploma in Drafting, CAD Design, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related fields.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with utility mapping workflows.
