A leading engineering firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Document Controller. Responsibilities include managing construction design documents, maintaining filing systems, and coordinating meetings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mandarin is essential, along with strong organizational skills. Ideal candidates will have a diploma and at least one year of relevant experience. The role provides exposure to large-scale rail projects and a collaborative work environment that supports career development.
Manage and control Electrical Engineering construction design documents and drawings, including physical submissions and records delivery to the client.
Archive approved design documents/drawings and distribute formal construction drawings to relevant parties.
Maintain and update project databases and filing systems (Aconex).
Organize and coordinate system meetings, including preparation, minute-taking, and reporting to the Head of Department.
Assist the department in coordinating with QAQC teams for internal and external audits.
Translate documents (e.g., formal letters) between English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia as required.
Diploma in any field.
At least 1 year in document controller role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Proficiency in reading and writing Mandarin (essential for translation tasks).
Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage.
Exposure to large-scale rail engineering and construction projects.
Hands‑on experience in document management systems and industry‑standard platforms (Aconex).
