A leading construction firm in Malaysia is seeking a candidate for document management to maintain registers of drawings and ensure quality management systems comply with ISO 9001. The role requires at least a Diploma in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of construction experience. Responsibilities include managing document reviews, supporting audits, and maintaining records accurately with proper filing for easy retrieval.
To maintain a master document register / log of latest drawings on a project and ensure that drawings are transmitted to all recipients accordingly based on requirements.
Maintenance of controlled documents registers both current and archive and manage submittals.
Ensuring that drawing transmittals are acknowledged in case there is a dispute on whether the drawings are transmitted.
Manage the document / drawing review process, both internal and external and manage the revision and copies.
Archiving data, documents and drawings for historical purposes with proper filing system to facilitate easy retrieval at a later date and ensure that documents have all the correct signatures showing that they have been checked.
Support internal and external audits (e.g., SIRIM, QESH).
Utilize EDMS platforms such asTeam Binder
Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Certificate in related field
Minimum 2 years of working experience in construction
