Distribution Planner (Senior/Junior)- One Permanent, One Contract Position

Distribution Planning provides prompt supply commitment in dynamic demand situation for semiconductor industry, and has the ability to work closely with global customer service team in support of the demands from their regional customers. This position requires advance reporting in CTB (Clean to build) for strategic customer, and familiar in interacting fluently with strategic customer GSM. The position will gather key data, execute allocation, shipment plans and be focal point to Syntiant internal team for Order Fulfilment Process related to the strategic customer.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing strategic customer supply commit plan based on the latest inventory and factory supply plans (Clear to Build/ CTB)
• Match Demand and supply. Highlighting shortage to Syntiant Strategic Account Director and Program Manager where allocation decisions are needed
• Communicate directly with Strategic Account Director on the world wide supply commit plan
• Managing allocation decisions and inform each customer service at all sites, of their customers supply commitments and strategic customer GSM as required.
• Ensure the orders from each customer is meeting the supply commit, by working closely with global customer service.
• Working with warehouse and Shipping to ensure ship as planned and on time.
• Prepare reports related to worldwide actual shipment history and open orders
• To attend to Strategic Customer Global Supplier Managers (GSM) requirements to meet customer satisfactions at the same time to ensure comply to direction from Syntiant Strategic Account Director and Global Planning Director in meeting Syntiant Financial goal and its objectives
• Provides prompt execution for global supply chain processes related to the strategic customer, such as orders, shipment, exceptions management, holds, tracking and traceability report, cut over control in SML, safety stock process, EOL process etc. Support all demand and supply matching analysis, allocation analysis, inventory analysis, supply and shipment analysis.
• Monitor and to meet Supply Chain Metrics for the Strategic Account
• Participate in monthly Supply Review S&OP meeting to be updated supply plan and constraint and any key issue from the manufacturing plant, and in return work with Factory SCM for supply constraint improvement.
• Initiate and Lead continuous improvement project via lean or 6 Sigma methodology, and support the SGD (Strategic Goal deployment) initiatives.
• Performs other duties as requested from time to time.

Position Requirement

• Education: Minimum Degree holder or higher.
• Experience: Total working experience of 5 years in the field of Supply Chain. Expertise in Demand Supply planning is desirable, or Diploma with total 10 years working experience in Supply Chain.
• Skill: Good verbal and written communication skill in English, Analytical, ability to model various supply scenario’s based on varying demand conflicts, Highly developed demonstrated teamwork skills, Proven ability to coordinate initiatives, actions and decisions between various geographically displaced teams.

Special Requirement

• Strong in Application of Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Oracle or any ERP system, familiar with CTB (Clean to Build) reporting and good communication in Mandarin are added advantage
