Job description

The function of this role is to provide strong support to the Ipsos Denmark Research team on the day‑to‑day responsibilities related to Innovation Service Line projects that rely on Discrete Choice techniques on the background (Conjoint, Max‑Diff, TURF).

That implies working closely with Denmark Researchers, being involved with tasks and responsibilities that help ensure that the project is both set up and running efficiently end to end, with a view to delivering against project specifications and delighting the client.

You’ll be joining a team who are passionate about improving processes and have a creative way of constantly challenging the status quo to find smarter ways of working.

Essential Responsibilities and deliverables
  • Be the off‑shore “go‑to” person in terms of Discrete Choice techniques for Ipsos Denmark team.
  • Be knowledgeable and stay updated in terms of Discrete Choice alternatives in the market, to be able to support Denmark team in potential client service models: i) Ipsos approaches, ii) external suppliers, iii) in‑house execution (Malaysia), iv) a mixture of them.
  • Be able to translate client briefs into Discrete Choice designs in an independent and/or collaborative way.
  • In any of the client service models stated above, being able to drive and lead the project, from end to end, leading all the internal activities that imply each service model, coordinating efforts with Innovation Denmark team, that will lead the external end (client facing).
  • Also, in case of in‑house project execution, being able to lead the project end‑to‑end, including hands‑on activities required for that, including the use of the software required (for set‑up, and processing).
  • Complying with operational scope and managing timeline and quality per the project requirements.
  • Provide support in the set up and ongoing delivery of the project, including adjusting project set up for e.g. change requests.
  • Check program links for accuracy against the questionnaire – content, flow, instructions, stimuli
  • Quality checking key deliverables, ensuring they are delivered accurately and to the highest quality
  • Update other tools and platforms e.g. Data Portals based on questionnaire changes
  • Receive raw datasets from data processing and/or research teams (Excel / SPSS/ Survey Reporter/ InfoTools)
  • Check data sets for logical consistency prior to analysis
  • Support Research Teams with data management and data analysis
  • Support preparation of core deliverables using Research Team platforms, techniques and technologies e.g. PowerPoint / Excel / Online portal / etc.
  • Manipulate data into correct format for analysis purposes using Excel or SPSS (weighting and processing as relevant)
  • Support analysis according to client’s requirements or objectives
  • Work alongside Research team in delivering bespoke and added‑value analysis and insight
  • Prepare, plan, prioritize and communicate effectively to ensure deliverables are prepared and sent to schedule
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and team members
Qualifications
  • Graduates or degree holders in Statistics, Applied Statistic, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent. A Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
  • At least 5‑7 year(s) of hands‑on working experience, good application and knowledge of Discrete Choice Techniques (Choice‑Based‑Conjoint, Menu‑Based Conjoint, Adaptive Based Conjoint, TURF, Max‑Diff, others).
  • Understand and use statistical analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Proactive and self‑initiating interest in matters pertaining to the industry.

  • Curiosity, staying ahead in terms of innovative ways to streamline the work, or add value to clients, with new solutions, approaches, technologies, etc.
  • Proficiency in statistical software, related to Discrete Choice / Choice Modelling like Sawtooth.
  • Other related software, R, Python, SPSS, SAS, is beneficial, but not mandatory.
  • Superior to advanced knowledge of experimental design, survey programming, and data processing.
