Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responsible for managing the strategic and tactical planning and strategies for either a single or multiple reverse logistics, VAS or EAD facility and business.
  • Provide strategic vision, direction and leadership for facilities or business responsible for, as well as ensuring they are in compliance with all regulations. Responsible for managing the specific P&L's for each of the organizations and managing to ensure all metrics are achieved or re-calibrated strategically. Assign and direct activities and projects across the organization to meet various customer, supplier, transportation and distribution needs.
  • Maintain an understanding of all the core business processes for your supported business group, drive initiatives for continuous improvements and processes. Identify, develop and recommend strategic initiatives for establishing external competitive advantages. Capture, report and understand the various costs, cost drivers and implement improvement programs where synergies exist among all the EAD or VAS businesses. Prepare financial analyses of impacts on business operations and make recommendations to gain the competitive advantage.
  • Maintain knowledge of EAD environmental and compliance regulations and oversee and ensure all logistics-related operations comply with applicable environmental, health, safety, and other regulatory rules and regulations (DOT, HIPAA, etc). Partner and collaborate with the EHS and quality organizations as needed.
