Overview

RBC Capital Markets is a leading global investment banking company dedicated to providing services in banking, finance, and capital markets to corporations, institutional investors, asset managers, and governments globally. We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Global Credit, Corporate and Institutional Lending Technology to join our dynamic and innovative team in Toronto. Day to day, your teams work runs the full SDLC scope, from managing requirements gathering, design, assisting development, testing, deploying to production and providing knowledge transfer to support teams. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, juggling competing priorities, and will be communicating directly with business stakeholders to understand the use cases and ensuring your solution is fit for purpose.



What will you do?


  • Act as the face of the Lending Technology team to our business and operations stakeholders

  • Meet with business and technology leads to understand objectives and map out technical and business requirements and formulate into strategic roadmaps

  • Ensure the defined OKRs for the group are met and facilitate on key project artefacts

  • Facilitate with technical analysis/specifications of requirements from Business and drive completion throughout the SDLC



What do you need to succeed?

Must-have



  • Degree in technology or other related field with 10+ years of experience

  • Deep understanding of Technology delivery within Financial services

  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • Leadership skills and experience working with technical teams (Developers/Quality Engineers/Business Analysts)

  • Strong data and analytics background
