A lifestyle brand in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a creative Digital Marketing Manager to lead KOL and influencer marketing strategies. You will develop comprehensive strategies to enhance brand awareness, manage relationships with influencers, and track campaign performance. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in influencer marketing, a strong understanding of social media trends, and exceptional negotiation skills. We are looking for a creative, relationship-driven KOL & Influencer Marketing Manager to lead our influencer, ambassador, and live-commerce strategies. This role is ideal for someone who has hands‑on experience scaling a consumer brand through influencer collaborations, TikTok/Shopee live streams, and community engagement. You’ll work closely with our content, performance marketing, and e-commerce teams to accelerate awareness, trust, and conversions.
Develop and execute a comprehensive KOL strategy to increase brand awareness and sales.
Identify, vet, and onboard influencers who align with Kapas Living’s brand values (home, lifestyle, minimalism, slow living).
Manage and nurture long‑term relationships with influencers, ambassadors, hosts, and agencies.
Plan and execute monthly gifting, product seeding, and paid KOL campaigns.
Manage and coordinate influencers and hosts for live‑streaming sessions.
Create or refine scripts, on‑screen flows, talking points, and promo mechanics.
Track key metrics including hook rate, retention, add‑to‑cart and conversion performance.
Work with content and e‑commerce teams to optimize livestream content and results.
Develop clear briefs, creative direction, KPIs, and timelines for each influencer.
Track performance and measure ROI using metrics like CPE, CPA, engagement rate, reach, and conversions.
Analyse campaign performance and optimize for continuous improvement.
Report weekly/monthly insights and learnings to the team.
Work with the content team to repurpose influencer assets for ads, social media, product pages, and emails.
Ensure influencer content aligns with brand guidelines and storytelling angles.
Negotiate influencer rates to achieve strong ROI.
Manage KOL budgets, forecast expenses, and ensure efficient spending.
2–5 years of experience in influencer marketing, KOL management, or brand partnerships (DTC/lifestyle brands preferred).
Proven track record growing a brand through influencers and/or live commerce.
Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging creator trends.
Experience working with micro‑influencers and ambassadors.
Creative eye for content quality, storytelling, and aesthetic consistency.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Comfortable analysing data and drawing insights.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Experience managing TikTok Shop affiliate programs or live campaigns.
Existing relationships with lifestyle or home‑decor influencers in Malaysia/Singapore.
Experience producing or hosting live streams.
Knowledge of home, lifestyle, or interior design content.
