Job description

NEXT Ventures is where ambition takes shape and movement becomes momentum. As a global platform revolutionising access to performance-based capital, we empower the world’s most driven individuals to rise. Through our flagship brand, FundedNext, we empower dreamers to become doers, and potential to turn into performance. With 500+ driven minds across five countries, we power a global rhythm—220,000+ daily users from 170+ nations, each chasing greatness in their own way.

Your Role in Our Mission

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our trading infrastructure — ensuring every system powering our trading, CFD, and brokerage platforms runs with peak reliability, scalability, and security. You’ll collaborate with trading, quant, operations, and backend teams to maintain high availability, automate deployments, and optimise real‑time infrastructure performance. In this role, you’ll champion continuous improvement in monitoring, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and compliance to meet the demanding standards of global trading environments. Familiarity with MetaTrader, MetaQuotes, or similar trading‑platform ecosystems will give you a strong advantage as you help us build and sustain a world‑class trading operation.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Cloud Infrastructure Excellence — Architect, deploy, and maintain AWS/Azure infrastructure to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, optimised networking, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Containerisation & Orchestration — Design, build, and manage Docker containers; orchestrate services using Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/equivalent); manage scaling, rollout strategies, and cluster health.
  • CI/CD & Deployment Automation — Implement, operate, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for services and trading platform components; manage deployment workflows, staging/production environments, and rollback strategies.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) — Use Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools to define, version, and manage infrastructure reliably and consistently.
  • Server Administration — Operate and administer both Linux and Windows server environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
  • Monitoring & Observability — Set up metrics, logging, tracing, and alerts; perform capacity planning and performance tuning to maintain system health.
  • Troubleshooting & Incident Response — Diagnose network, OS, and application‑level issues; lead incident response and root‑cause analysis to minimise downtime.
  • Collaboration & Documentation — Work closely with trading engineers and backend developers; support low‑latency, real‑time systems; create architecture documentation, run‑books, and SOPs.
What You Bring
  • 3–5 years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles, ideally within fintech, trading, or brokerage systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS, including designing VPCs, networking, IAM policies, monitoring, and autoscaling.
  • Proficient with Kubernetes and Docker, with experience managing production‑grade clusters.
  • Familiar with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools for automated deployment and testing pipelines.
  • Skilled in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for versioned and modular infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux and strong experience with Windows Server administration.
  • Proficient in Bash and Shell scripting; optionally Python, Go, or PowerShell for automation.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/mitigation, and secure system configuration.
Your X‑Factor

Extensive experience in CFD, Forex, or trading platform environments, including derivatives, order matching, market data, low‑latency systems, and regulatory compliance, with hands‑on knowledge of MetaQuotes / MetaTrader (MT4/MT5/MQL4/MQL5) servers and Windows trading platforms.

Strong cloud and DevOps expertise, including multi‑cloud or hybrid environments, high‑performance tuning, containerisation with Kubernetes/Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible), and relevant certifications (AWS, CKA/CKAD).

Deep understanding of data security and regulatory standards (PCI‑DSS, GDPR, etc.), combined with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills to maintain reliable, high‑availability trading systems.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, proactive ownership mindset, ability to work under pressure in fast‑paced trading environments, and commitment to uptime and incident response.
