Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a candidate who can analyze and clarify insurance product requirements, design and enhance product models, and work collaboratively with actuarial teams. The ideal applicant holds a degree in Computer Science or a related field, has 2 to 5 years of experience, and possesses excellent English communication skills. Exposure to actuarial work and knowledge of product development will be advantageous. This position is based in Selangor, Malaysia.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Analysis & clarify insurance product requirements (specifications, calculations, rules) with product pricing / actuarial team
• Design and develop and test new product model and product enhancements using ProductXpress or VP/MS tool
• Unit test product calculations and validation rules
• Work closely with product pricing / actuarial team to rectify any product calculation and validation gap
• Participate in regional/global forums for review/update of processes, guidelines, governance materials as prescribed by Global PC CoE Shared Service construct
• Assist in maintaining Product Modelling Guidelines and Taxonomy
• Assist in conducting Global PC program or product modelling tools demonstrations

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or equivalent field
• 2 to 5 years of experience
• Excellent English communication both verbal and written
• Exposure to actuarial work will be an advantage
• Exposure to product development & regulatory/compliance requirements will be an advantage
