Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

A Design Engineer in the water treatment industry is responsible for leading the design and development of water and wastewater treatment systems

Responsibilities

• Preparation of system design presentations for clients, if required.
• Preparation of RFQ, specification and assist in Technical evaluation.
• Preparation of engineering details concerning designs, drawing, studies and reporting.
• Perform calculation analysis and control philosophy related to plant design.
• Develop plant design and detailed specifications required by client.
• Assists in project quality control and assurance from time to time.
• Liaises and coordinates with operation teams and sub-contractors on design issues.
• Assists in development and verification of project control documentation and status report.
• To perform Mechanical design work using Autocad 2D/3D software.
• Ensure design drawings comply with the requirements of the authorities and company’s ISO 9001 procedures.

Requirements

• Required skills: AutoCad and Microsoft Office Application.
• Required language(s): Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is an added advantage.
• Energetic, personable, and enjoys engaging with others.
• Capable of working collaboratively in a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
• Possess own transport with a valid driving license.
• At least 3 years’ work experience in the related field is required for this position.
• The candidate must be willing to be based on-site for a designated period.
