Deputy Manager – Campus Commercial Operations

Salary Range: RM6,000 – RM8,000 (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities
  1. Campus Commercial Planning & Vendor Coordination
    • Assist in planning and executing campus commercial activities.
    • Support vendor sourcing, negotiations, tender processes, and contract coordination to meet campus requirements.
  2. Dining Services Oversight
    • Support supervision of campus dining and food service operators.
    • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health regulations are consistently met.
  3. Shop Operations & Compliance Monitoring
    • Monitor daily operations of on-campus retail outlets.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety, fire safety, licensing, and staff qualification requirements.
  4. Fee Collection & Coordination
    • Assist in managing collection of management, utilities, sanitation, and related fees as per contract terms.
    • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate billing and collection.
  5. Contract Support & Administration
    • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and administering commercial contracts.
    • Handle operational or vendor-related issues under guidance of senior management.
  6. General & Ad-hoc Duties
    • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department from time to time.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in campus operations, commercial management, property management, or hospitality.
  • Mandarin speaking ability is mandatory (to liaise with vendors).
  • Strong coordination, compliance monitoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with contracts, vendor management, and operational compliance is an advantage.
