Deposit Manager - Corporate (Kedah), Northern Region - Retail Banking Distribution

Job Description

Summary Responsible for acquiring and managing Sales Deposit and Investment products, driving growth within both corporate and individual customer segments.

  • Meet sales targets/KPIs for Non-Individual (CASATIA & Non-CASATIA) and Individual (CASATIA – New Salary Account [NOA]) customers.
  • Develop and implement business plans for Deposit Business, including acquisition strategies for new corporate accounts.
  • Acquire new business and expand relationships within the Non-Individual Market Segment.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and queries, ensuring high levels of satisfaction in corporate relationships.
  • Assist branches with inquiries related to corporate deposit products.
  • Prepare and submit sales activity reports (SAR) to the Regional Director (RD) and HQ Sales Team.
  • Ensure that activity (call) reports are prepared after each customer meeting.
  • Notify and assist State Client Relationship Director (Supervisor) with fraud attempts detected within the specified timeframe.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies, guidelines, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and inform business strategy.
  • Report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to supervisor.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in corporate banking or financial services.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with a high level of perseverance and a strong drive for results.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients.
  • Comfortable with technology and electronic banking products, with a good understanding of digital tools in banking.
  • Resourceful, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming challenges.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and achieve business growth targets.
