Job description

Demand Planners play a key role in ensuring a robust demand plan is created for our regional teams to support the regional Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process. They bring together customer requirements and assumptions through close collaboration with local Sales teams.

Using our Global Planning Digital tool, Demand Planners lead the demand plan by using system-generated and cleansed statistical model data and layering in appropriate intelligence from Sales and Marketing. They provide detailed analysis of key data, insights and assumptions, and work closely with regional Sales teams to capture relevant adjustments that reflect our customers’ realistic unconstrained demand.

This position requires proven demand planning experience, strong statistical modelling skills in our digital planning tool, and the ability to develop positive relationships with Sales and Marketing to create a solid, accurate Demand Plan.

What you will deliver (responsibilities)
  • Demand Forecasting & Analysis
    • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical models within our global planning tool. This includes cleansing historical events, running robust statistical modelling, and deciding which intelligence to add for future planning.
    • Supervise and analyze forecast accuracy, bias, and value at multiple levels of granularity, identifying and addressing deviations to align with portfolio Sales teams.
    • Provide insights on demand trends, seasonality, and risks to improve planning accuracy.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate and collaborate closely with Regional Sales and Marketing to align on realistic Demand Plans that feed into Supply Planning.
    • Support the S&OP process by presenting updated demand insights and key changes to assumptions, working with the S&OP Manager.
    • Work with Sales, Finance, and regional S&OP Managers to assess opportunities and vulnerabilities to the demand forecast and their impact on business targets.
    • Collaborate with other regional teams and the Global Demand Planning Excellence Lead to ensure adoption of global frameworks and standard processes.
  • Systems & Reporting
    • Apply our demand planning tool to enhance forecasting capabilities.
    • Maintain and improve reporting dashboards to track key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, bias, and inventory levels.
    • Continuously improve demand planning processes through data‑driven insights and standard methodologies.
What you will need to be successful (experience, job requirements & qualifications)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8–12 years in demand planning or a related role within consumer goods, food & beverage, or manufacturing industries.
  • Proven experience using Advanced Planning software, ideally Kinaxis Maestro.
  • Strong business proficiency in both English and Thai (mandatory).
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with ERP software (SAP ECC, S4 Hana).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Commercial and Sales teams in multiple countries.
  • Ability to prioritize in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
