What you will be doing (Key Responsibilities)
- On-time deliveries: Safely collect goods from scheduled locations and deliver to designated destinations according to the Delivery Order (DO).
- Follow SOPs and documentation: Ensure deliveries are acknowledged/stamped by recipients and all documents are correctly managed.
- Route planning: Choose the safest, most efficient routes while obeying road rules and company safety regulations.
- Vehicle care: Keep your lorry clean and roadworthy; perform daily walk‑around checks.
- Loading/unloading oversight: Verify correct items and quantities; ensure loads comply with company weight policies.
- Record keeping: Log mileage, trips, and delivery details; retain and submit fuel/toll receipts.
- Report issues fast: Notify the planner/supervisor of any defects, delays, accidents, violations, or delivery challenges.
- Maintenance coordination: Flag major maintenance needs; arrange workshop visits as scheduled and support preventative maintenance.
- Team support: Assist with ad-hoc tasks when requested by the planner/supervisor.
What do we need from you (Job Requirements)
- Must-have: SPM and valid GDL license.
- Safe, responsible driving habits with strong situational awareness.
- Experience driving rigid lorries; handling regulated goods is a plus.
- Able to follow SOPs and manage delivery paperwork accurately.
- Physically fit to assist with loading/unloading where required.
- Good communication, reliability, and problem‑solving on the road.
Work locations and travel
Primary regions: Selangor, Kota Bharu, Melaka, Kelantan.
Outstation travel required based on delivery schedules.
