Open Position: Dean Faculty of Engineering

A renowned educational institution is currently looking to hire a Dean Faculty of Engineering to join their team based in Northern Region of Peninsular Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Holds a PhD in any Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Computer Engineering, AI-ML, Data Science, Robotics or related field) from a recognized institution
• Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching at tertiary education institution with at least 5 years in leadership role (Dean, Deputy/Associate Dean or Head of Department).
• Professional Engineer (Ir.) registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is required. Membership in other professional organizations such as Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), IEEE or equivalent international bodies is an added advantage.
• Must meet Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) Malaysia’s academic staff qualification criteria.
• Additional certifications in Higher Education Leadership, Accreditation, or Technology Management are preferred.
