Job summary

A leading engineering and construction company in Malaysia is hiring a Quantity Surveyor (MEP) for a contract position at the new Data Centre in Puncak Alam, Selangor. In this role, you will prepare bills of quantities, negotiate subcontractor agreements, and manage project costs. Qualified candidates should have a degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 5 years' experience in the construction industry, with strong skills in MEP systems and excellent communication abilities. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and their associated costs.
  • Able to join immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and analyzing bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documentation for MEP works.
  • Negotiating and managing subcontractor agreements.
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs, providing regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the project team to resolve contractual and commercial issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
