Job summary

A leading technology firm in Johor is seeking a candidate to assist in Data Center Cabling Projects. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, preparing cabling lists, and performing technical tasks such as patching work and rack-to-rack cabling. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of IT equipment installation and communication skills in Mandarin for client interactions. Own transportation and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Able to assist PM/Engineer for Data Center Cabling Project.
• Knowledgeable in IT equipment installation including Server, Switch, Firewall, Router (configuration not required).
• Able to communicate with clients in Mandarin for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist and manage subcontractor for site work.
• Prepare cabling list and equipment cable connection list.
• Perform project add-on cabling and patching work.

Job description

To assist PM/Engineer for Data Center Cabling Project.

To assist and manage sub contractor for site work.

To prepare cabling list/equipment cable connection list.

To prepare cabling label (Printing from PC/Notebook in office).

To perform project add on cabling and patching work with cabling technician.

Able to perform add on rack to rack cabling work by using ladder.

Knowledge of IT equipment Server, Switch, Firewall, Router installation (no configuration).

Able to work OT when require.

With own transport and valid license.

Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
