Job description

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the overall data warehouse architecture to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Design and implement ETL workflows to integrate data from multiple sources (internal systems, external feeds).

Define and enforce enterprise standards for data storage, retrieval, and governance.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all layers of data architecture.

Monitor and optimize data performance/efficiency, including query tuning and resource utilization.

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security policies.

Coordinate cross-functional team and contribute to projects aimed at improving data capabilities and analytics maturity.

Provide technical guidance and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or related field.

Minimum 6-8 years of experience in data architecture/warehousing, with experience in stakeholder management role.

Experience in general insurance or financial services preferred.

Strong expertise in database modelling and design, and/or data warehouse dynamics.

Proficient in SQL/ETL language and processes, APIs, data integration tools, analytical tools, etc.

Team player with good track record, strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Good verbal and written communications skills.
