Responsibilities

Understand business needs and requirements, be curious and ask the important questions.

Enable effective and strategic decision‑making by analyzing data from multiple sources and crafting them into practical formats and reports by using business intelligence frameworks, tools and data marts.

Develop presentations that vividly and clearly communicate your analytical results and actionable insights for a diverse range of audiences.

Work closely with other relevant internal teams to ensure that information and reports are delivered like clockwork.

Implement automation of reporting and dashboards; maintain contents and quality of databases.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related fields. Masters is an advantage.

Professional certifications for any business intelligence solution would be an additional advantage.

Proven working experience in data analysis. Preferably at least 1 year of experience working in:

• Business users to gather requirements and design solutions; and/or
• Data analysis, Excel and PowerPoint; and/or
• Writing scripts for SQL manipulation and building reports and dashboards with any business intelligence tool such as Tableau, QlikView/Qlik Sense, Power BI or equivalent

Fresh graduates with relevant degrees and outstanding results will be considered.

Able to engage with various users to translate business requirements into data requirements.

Good understanding of dimensional modelling and data warehouse concepts.

Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data.

Solid problem‑solving skills and creative thinking to identify new solutions.

Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations.

Experience with RDBMS and Big Data Storage technologies (i.e. MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle, Hive/Impala).
