Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and scale data pipelines, ETL workflows, and ingestion systems
• Work closely with product, engineering, and growth teams to define metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
• Perform deep-dive analyses on user behaviour, cohorts, funnels, churn, LTV, CAC, and other SaaS/consumer metrics to drive decisions
• Create and optimize SQL queries, data models, schemas, and warehouse structures
• Develop automated alerts, anomaly detection, and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, multi-variant testing)
• Ensure data governance, quality, reliability, and documentation across systems
• Work with APIs, event streams, BigQuery/Snowflake/Redshift or equivalent cloud data platforms
• Collaborate on predictive models and ML pipelines where required
• Convert raw data into actionable insights for leadership and product teams

Required Skills

• Strong command of SQL (must)
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) or similar tooling
• Familiarity with Looker Studio / PowerBI / Tableau or other BI tools
• Comfort with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL frameworks, and event-based architectures
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured analyses
• Strong communication and storytelling skills using data

Good to Have

• Experience in SaaS / mobile app analytics, subscription metrics, or generative AI
• Knowledge of experiment design, feature tagging, and cohorting
• Exposure to ML workflows, embeddings, or vector databases
• Must have 2+ years experience in this field
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or relevant technical degree
• Prior startup experience or ability to operate independently at speed
