We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Officer (Night Shift/Weekend) to join our team based in Penang.
Data Management: Enter and maintain operational data accurately in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Milestone Tracking: Monitor and update milestone tracking across multiple countries to ensure timely operational visibility.
Customer & Internal Support: Respond promptly to customer and internal queries via email and Teams chat, providing accurate and relevant information.
Record Validation: Record and validate operational details (e.g., cargo information) to support smooth workflows and compliance requirements.
Quality Control: Review and verify completed work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
Proactive Communication: Communicate proactively with country operations and internal teams, providing updates and resolving inquiries professionally.
Confidentiality: Safeguard sensitive customer and company information, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with team members to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements as part of the Continuous Improvement initiative.
Education: Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Prior experience in logistics, operations, or milestone tracking is an advantage.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with excellent data accuracy skills.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle customer and internal interactions professionally.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Typing Proficiency: Minimum 30–40 words per minute with 95%+ accuracy.
Shift Requirements: Ability and willingness to work Night Shift (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM), and weekend shifts. Rest days are scheduled on Thursday and Friday.
Flexibility: Ability to support operations on public holidays when required.
