Job summary

A leading pawn broking company in Subang Jaya is seeking a Customer Service Executive to provide exceptional customer service and assist in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of retail or customer service experience, preferably in the gold retail sector. Responsibilities include appraising gold jewellery, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. A strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, with Mandarin as a plus. Benefits include annual leave, EPF, and medical leave.

Qualifications

Customer Service Executive (Pajak Gadai)

Minimum 1 year of customer service or retail experience, preferably in the pawn broking or gold retail industry.

Relevant experience working in GOLDSMITH or prior PAWNSHOP is an added advantage.

On the job training will be provided if applicant has no relevant experience in the pawn broking industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds.

Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with a focus on delivering high‑quality customer service.

Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Mandarin or other languages is a plus.

Must be able to work 6 days 9am to 5pm (Monday to Friday) and 9am to 3pm (Saturday).

Location: USJ 1/SS 14.

Responsibilities
  • Appraise gold jewellery.
  • Assist on day‑to‑day operations and take on general administrative duties.
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service through phone and in-person interactions.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, complaints, and requests related to our pawn broking services.
  • Maintain accurate records and process customer transactions in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
