A new pawnbroking company in Malaysia is seeking a Customer Service Associate & Admin Executive. The ideal candidate has good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with skills in Microsoft Office. Responsibilities include assisting customers with pawning and renewing items, maintaining records accurately, and ensuring a tidy display area. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Mandarin or other languages is a plus.
Minimum SPM; Diploma or higher preferred.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
At least 1–2 years of experience in administrative or customer service work is an advantage.
Experience in pawn broking, jewelry, or retail industry is preferred.
Computer literate – able to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic systems.
Presentable and polite, with an outgoing personality and attention to detail.
Able to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Willing to work in shifts, including weekends or public holidays when required.
Greet and assist customers with pawning, redeeming, and renewing luxury items.
Record and maintain customer information, pawn tickets, and loan documents accurately.
Handle data entry for all transactions and ensure accuracy in the system.
Maintain proper filing systems (digital and physical).
Ensure the front desk and display area are clean, secure, and well-organised.
Answer phone calls, and handle general administrative duties.
Training provided for candidates new to the pawn or jewelry industry.
