Job description
Responsibilities
  • Liaise with customers on product quality issues and address concerns with corrective and preventive action plans, coordinated with internal manufacturing personnel.
  • Coordinate failure analysis on returned assembly parts and communicate failure parameters with customers. Define root causes for failure modes.
  • Manage internal coordination and preparation for customer visits and audits. Follow up on corrective and preventive actions from audit findings.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure timely closure of 8D reports within the allowable timeframe.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and recommend improvement programs for QA procedure implementation.
  • Coordinate reviews of product FMEA and Control Plans when necessary.
  • Ensure customer quality control requirements are integrated into the internal quality control system.
  • Establish and review acceptance criteria (visual aids) for use by production and QA personnel for each automotive project.
  • Execute all projects and assignments as directed by the immediate superior.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Management, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing QA environment.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead Operations and QA teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Capable of planning, executing, and delegating tasks aligned with company objectives.
  • Effective communication skills across all staff levels and with customers.
  • Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO requirements.
  • Solid understanding of QA functions and product audit requirements.
  • Proficient in automotive core tools, including:
    • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
    • Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
    • Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
    • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
