Responsibilities (Text Only)
- Maintaining ICS availability, data quality, service and change management, reporting, and the security of all ICS systems in the Data Centers.
- Site level ICS program and project management, governing and directly participating in the execution of global initiatives related to ICS systems.
- Managing, servicing, and governing Microsoft’s electrical and mechanical industrial control systems (ICS), including servers, applications, networks, and device infrastructure within Microsoft’s 24x7x365 mission-critical datacenters.
- Governing logical and physical access, approval, and permissions related to all ICS systems, networks, workstations, and servers that provide datacenter monitoring and controls.
- Promoting a culture of safety and security in global datacenter operations by complying with CO+I’s safety programs and policies and completing compliance assessments.
- Developing positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications (Text Only)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree OR 2+ years of technical experience in Industrial Control Systems (ICS), software engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or applicable field experience in Critical Environments, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical.
- 3+ years of experience in operational, mission-critical, 24x7x365 facilities.
- 1.5+ years of experience in designing and/or commissioning Industrial Controls Systems (ICS) in datacenter environments, including Modbus and BACnet protocols.
- 2+ years of experience with operation and maintenance of building electrical and mechanical systems.
- Project management experience with agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of construction techniques, blueprints, construction drawings, and documents.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize, and adapt to changing demands.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and meet deadlines.
- Ability to provide meaningful and timely reporting for success metrics.
- Understanding of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), Battery Monitoring Systems (BMS), etc.
