1. Position Overview
The Creative Video Editor produces high-impact visual content that strengthens the company’s brand, enhances parent trust, and supports overall revenue growth. This role combines creative shooting, professional editing, VFX/motion graphics, and internal content training to consistently elevate the visual identity of Wonderspire and Mumtaz Generation.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Creative Production (Photo & Video)
- Capture high-quality photos and videos during events, classes, school activities, and content shoots.
- Operate professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment to achieve premium visual output.
- Plan and execute creative shoots aligned with branding and marketing goals.
- Capture natural, candid moments that represent student learning and school culture.
B. Professional Editing & Post-Production
- Edit videos to professional standards including pacing, colour grading, sound design, subtitles, and transitions.
- Edit photos for branding, marketing, and social media.
- Optimise content for all major platforms (IG, FB, TikTok, YouTube, website).
- Maintain strong visual consistency with brand guidelines.
C. Motion Graphics & VFX (Brand Differentiation)
- Produce motion graphics, animated text, logo animations, and visual effects for premium storytelling.
- Apply VFX and motion elements that differentiate Wonderspire and Mumtaz Generation from competitors.
- Develop reusable video templates, animated frames, and presets.
- Support major brand campaigns, product launches, and marketing ads with advanced visuals.
D. Content Strategy & Revenue-Focused Planning
- Create monthly video plans that increase brand trust and influence parent decision-making.
- Develop storytelling content that showcases student progress, school excellence, and program impact.
- Coordinate with marketing to support enrolment goals and promotional activities.
- Review analytics and continuously refine creative direction.
E. Training & Internal Creative Development
- Train teachers to capture high-quality classroom photos and videos using simple guidelines.
- Prepare SOPs and visual standards for internal use.
- Review and approve teacher-submitted media for marketing use.
- Build a creative culture internally by sharing best practices.
3. Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Creative Multimedia, Film, Digital Media, Visual Arts, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates welcomed; practical creative experience is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in video editing tools (Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
- Proficiency in photo editing tools (Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Basic to intermediate VFX and motion graphics skills for standout branding and storytelling.
- Strong camera skills: lighting, framing, exposure, and audio capture.
- Understanding of social media trends, especially short-form content.
- Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple creative tasks.
- Strong visual storytelling instincts and passion for creative experimentation.
