Job description

Lead power supply strategy, connection planning, utilities assessments, and engagement with power utilities and agencies for data center projects.

Ensure that all projects secure reliable, scalable, and compliant power and utilities infrastructure.

Assess feasibility of power connection, capacity availability, and infrastructure conditions for project sites.

Lead engagement with power utilities, public service agencies, and related stakeholders.

Analyze tariff structures, supply models, and policy environments, providing recommendations for the project.

Plan power supply technical solutions including redundancy levels, substation requirements, and expansion pathways.

Manage power due diligence, technical studies, and coordination with external consultants.

Identify risks in power supply (e.g., delay, expansion uncertainty) and develop mitigation strategies.

Provide technical inputs and support to design, construction, and operations teams.

Support headquarters with power cost modeling, investment evaluation, and feasibility analysis.

  • Assess the feasibility of adopting renewable energy solutions, including solar PV, wind power, green power purchase options, or other local green energy offerings.
  • Lead or support technical discussions, cost assessments, and engagement with potential partners related to clean energy solutions.
  • Propose renewable energy configurations and energy mix optimization strategies based on local grid structure and policy landscape.

Experience in power systems, utilities, energy sectors, or large industrial/data center projects.

Understanding of power access requirements, supply stability, and utilities infrastructure for large-scale projects.

Ability to manage communication and process coordination with power utilities.

Basic understanding of renewable energy concepts and local green power procurement models.

Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate technical options.

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Fluent proficiency in the local language. Able to conduct communication and negotiation with utilitiesin the local language

English at business-working level for communication, reporting, and collaborationwith teams in other countries.

Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, M&E Engineering, or related technical fields.

Candidates with strong practical experience in power utilities may be considered even without matching majors.

Professional engineering certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Experience in power utilities, public service agencies, energy consulting, or large engineering projects.

Experience in data center power planning or large energy projects is a strong plus.

  • Experience in renewable energy projects such as solar PV, wind power, or green power procurement.
  • Knowledge of green energy certificates, green power contracts, or relevant local policies is preferred.
