Our Client:

We have recently partnered with a MNC company that specialize in manufacturing and distributing positive displacement pump. The company is expanding their Malaysia footprint and currently looking for Country Manager to drive their sales activities and manage their local operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and target new business opportunities in Malaysia across key industries such as General Industry, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, wastewater, food & beverage, Palm Oil and more.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Act as the primary sales driver for the company in Malaysia, focusing on acquiring new customers and expanding relationships with existing clients.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Malaysia market, including regulatory requirements, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Set up the operational framework for the company in Malaysia, including hiring local talent (if required), and establishing processes for sales, marketing, and customer support.
  • Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to the global leadership team.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or market expansion, preferably in the industrial, engineering, or pump industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share in a competitive environment.
  • Strong network and relationships within the Malaysia market, particularly in general industries, manufacturing or waste water.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
