Job summary

A construction company is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position in Jelutong, Penang. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include forecasting material costs, preparing contracts and budgets, and tracking changes in construction projects. Good communication skills in Malay and English are essential, along with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Based in Jelutong and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to start immediately is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Price / forecast the cost of various materials needed for the project.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bill of quantities.
• Track changes in design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections.
