POSITION: MANAGER
The Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients comprising of public and private companies. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing advice on corporate secretarial matters to both listed and non-listed companies.
- Attend Board, Board Committees and General Meetings and prepare minutes accordingly.
- Supervise, support and provide guidance to subordinates, ensuring that all communications with clients is supported with proper documentation and that deadlines are met.
- Deliver excellent client service promptly responding to clients and queries.
- Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliance in the corporate secretariat is met.
- Support on ad hoc projects, conduct legal research and assist with compliance matters.
Job Requirements
- Hold a Degree/Advance Diploma/Diploma/Graduate of ICSA.
- Be an associate member of ICSA with at least 6 years of relevant working experience in corporate secretarial field, preferably in a professional firm.
- Be familiar with all aspects of corporate secretarial practice and have experience in handling corporate secretarial matters of listed companies.
- Be proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of Mandarin would be an added advantage.
- Possess computer and customer service skills.
- Have good interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills.
- Be a leader and team player with strong sense of responsibility, initiative and a can-do attitude.
- Be able to work independently with minimum supervision from the superiors, lead and motivate a team of professional staff.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented and deadline-oriented.
POSITION: SENIOR/ JUNIOR CORPORATE SECRETARIAL EXECUTIVE
The ideal candidate will be responsible for clients’ corporate secretarial duties, and the remuneration will be commensurate with their experience and qualifications.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of clients’ corporate secretarial matters of both listed and non-listed companies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with incorporation of companies, registration of foreign entities and limited liability partnerships.
- Prepare resolutions, minutes of meetings and ancillary documents.
- Monitor and ensure that the statutory registers are properly kept and updated, and submit statutory returns to CCM.
- Manage striking off companies.
- Send reminders and correspondences to clients regarding changes, compliance issues and other follow-up functions.
- Liaise with CCM and other regulators, advisors and auditors.
- Perform other ad-hoc secretarial duties and administrative tasks assigned by superior.
Job Requirements
- Hold a Degree/Advance Diploma/Diploma/Graduate of ICSA or currently pursuing an ICSA course. Those without the relevant qualifications but with relevant working experience are also welcomed to apply.
- Have at least 2 years of working experience in company secretarial practice.
- Possess proficiency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of Mandarin would be an added advantage.
- Be computer literate and familiar with MyCoID and MBRS.
- Be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
