Job summary

JOB SCOPE:
  • Enable business continuity in core Claims Administration System including product launch, campaign and business initiatives.
  • Deliver high stability in core Claims Administration System to support PRUexperience for customer and partner.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible to lead and manage IT team for Claims Administration System related work covering technical solutioning and development.
  • Responsible for continuity in maintenance and support of Claims Administration System to support business.
  • Responsible as a key technical contact person for claims business stakeholders, engage and work closely with them to meet delivery goals.
  • Work closely and align on technical solutioning with other IT integrated platforms.
  • Adhere and comply to local & global IT policy & standard, software development lifecycle standard.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Qualification
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Experience
  • At least 15 years working experience in implementing and supporting Insurance related application.
  • Experience in leading & managing application development team, with at least a pool of 8-10 technical resources.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with proven leadership exposure, and able to cope with challenging delivery timeline and pressure at work.
  • Experience in supporting and engaging business stakeholders, with good interpersonal skill.
Knowledge
  • Knowledge in the following technical skill or other equivalent is an advantage (JSP, Javascript, Struts, Spring Framework, Hibernate, SOAP, REST services, Jasper Reports, Apache Tomcat, JBoss Application Server, Oracle DB, Linux).
  • Have strong technical knowledge in application or system integration.
  • Domain knowledge in Life Insurance functionality and processes is an added advantage.
