Golden Age Elderly Care Centre is seeking a part-time Cook to join our dedicated team in Ipoh Perak. As our Cook, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our elderly residents, ensuring they receive the care and sustenance they deserve.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks based on residents' dietary needs and preferences
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in all food preparation and storage
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents' nutritional requirements are met
• Assist with ordering and inventory of kitchen supplies
• Contribute to the development of weekly menus and recipes

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Cook, preferably in a healthcare or aged care setting
• Knowledge of nutritional requirements and special dietary needs for the elderly
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the care team
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
