Responsibilities

• Manage real estate transactions for both commercial and residential sub‑sale properties and ensure all transactions meet legal obligations
• Handle and manage all loan documentation for financing and re‑financing
• Review and draft contracts and other conveyancing documents
• Advise clients in connection with conveyancing matters and attend signing with clients
• Liaise effectively with bankers, developers, real estate agents, government bodies/agencies, clients and related parties involved in the transaction
• Ensure compliance with all relevant procedures, timelines, laws and regulations
• Monitor and follow up closely the progress for all ongoing files and ensure timely and efficient completion of all transactions
• All other tasks as assigned by the firm from time to time

Requirements

• Possess Bachelor of Laws degree and current Practicing Certificate
• At least 3‑4 years of practical conveyancing experience, including a strong understanding of both sub‑sale and project based transaction and proficiency in conveyancing procedures
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to clients
• Ability to speak some major Chinese dialects would be an added advantage
• A proactive, eager and willing to learn attitude, take responsibility, and ability to work independently and effectively as a team
• Manage time well and able to meet deadline
• Attention to details and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
• Preferably able to start work immediately, or within short notice
