Job description

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Clerk to join our growing legal team located in Johor Bahru city centre, Johor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing efficient and accurate conveyancing support to our legal professionals, ensuring a seamless client experience.

What you'll be doing
  • Preparing and processing various conveyancing documents such as sale and purchase agreements, loan documentations and other legal instruments
  • Conducting land and company searches to ensure the accuracy and validity of all documentation
  • Liaising with clients, developers, bankers and other parties involved in property transactions to gather information to prepare the documentations
  • Maintaining detailed records and files to ensure the efficient tracking and management of all conveyancing matters
  • Assisting with the completion of property transactions including the coordination of settlement procedures
  • Providing administrative support to the legal team as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence
  • Preparing reports to banks to update the status of all ongoing cases
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Conveyancing Clerk in a legal firm environment
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes, procedures, and relevant legislation
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • A fast learner and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in the use of legal software and computer applications
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with clients and other stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Able to start work immediately
