Job description
Responsibilities and Duties:
  1. Oversee the smooth operation of the Department on areas of Pre-Contracts, Post Contracts and Contracts Services.
  2. Assist to establish operational budgets (pre-tender) and ensure that the budgeted goals are achieved and cost objectives are met.
  3. Assist to plan, implement and continuously review the existing systems and procedures to improve on the effectiveness and efficiency of workflows as well as the development of computerization for tendering and estimation.
  4. Research and secure new tenders to contribute to the bottom line of the Company.
  5. Attend all relevant external & internal meetings and cascade information to all related parties.
  6. Set-up action plans, conduct regular meetings with section heads to review operations and other related matters.
  7. Responsible and accountable for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health, as well as the provision of safe and healthy workplaces and activities through ensuring the implementation of all relevant policies, procedures and work instructions as so defined in the Company’s Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health (QESH) Management System.
  8. To demonstrate leadership and commitment by ensuring the provision of necessary resources and support required for the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the Company’s QESH Management Systems.
  9. Responsible to develop, lead and promote Total Quality Management (TQM) culture and ensure conformance to applicable legal and other requirements throughout operations within area of responsibility.
  10. To establish and implement processes for consultation and participation of workers and protects workers from reprisals when reporting incidents, hazards, risks and opportunities.
  11. Accountable for the overall Quality, Environment, Safety and Health (QESH) performance of the project site.
  12. To ensure all employees use Personal Protective Equipment(s) (PPEs) at all times when working at site.
  13. To constantly find new, innovative and economical ways to stay green, environmental and sustainable.
  14. Any and all other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior.
