Job description
Consumer Insight & Sensory Assistant Manager
Job Responsibilities:
  • Regularly conduct and share trend analysis and competitor landscaping for various condiment categories in APAC region to drive innovation opportunities.
  • Independently work on APAC projects with cross functions to define the real problem, design research method, plan and execute the research efficiently, and interpret data and insight to make business decisions.
  • Conduct qualitative/quantitative consumer research/listening for region and global projects in agile ways with limited resource.
  • Collaborate with cross functions to ensure superior product experiences that are meeting local consumer needs and are competitive enough to competitors.
  • Apply product technical story‑telling framework to drive better product communication and claims.
  • Basic understanding and experience of sensory methodologies, panel recruitment, and maintenance.
  • Skilled in executing sensory testing protocols and panel training.
  • Serve taste panels, ensuring tests are conducted error‑free.
  • Perform the analysis for descriptive and discrimination tests.
  • Establish the external partner, relevant agency, digital tools to extend CTI & sensory capability in APAC region.
  • Partner within CTI & Sensory members for global projects, apply global learnings to APAC Zone.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in food science or science‑related majors.
  • Experience in FMCG industry, such as food/daily care company.
  • Experiences in sensory and consumer technical research, or marketing research.
  • Experienced in qualitative and quantitative consumer research and good at translating key learnings and insight into actionable plans. Consumer research experience in food service is preferred.
  • Solid experience in trend and competitor analysis is preferred.
  • Strong team orientation and ability to work collaboratively across regions and with cross‑functional partners.
  • Good at framing the real problem and be action‑oriented to drive results accordingly.
  • Pragmatism, flexibility and quick adaptation.
  • Familiar with Asian cuisine and culinary tradition. Passionate about foods.
  • Tech savvy on AI/digital tools.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
