Job summary

A leading construction firm in Gelang Patah, Malaysia seeks an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to manage Safety & Health programs. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Yellow Book certification and possess a degree in Occupational Safety and Health. Responsibilities include risk assessment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and conducting safety trainings. Qualifications

  • At least a Certificate, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
  • Valid Yellow Book certification is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a registered Site Safety Supervisor in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation of Safety & Health programs.
  • Assist the Site Safety & Health Officer with guidance on practices.
  • Identify hazards and implement control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety & Health regulations.
  • Monitor and report on-site Safety & Health performance.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities to resolve issues.
  • Prepare and submit monthly Safety & Health reports.
