Job summary

A leading construction firm based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Construction Procurement Manager responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials and services necessary for construction projects. This role involves negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring project budgets and timelines are met. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Quantity Surveying, along with extensive experience in construction procurement. This position is office-based in Bukit Damansara, working five days a week.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction procurement with a solid understanding of supplier management.
  • Proven track record in negotiating contracts and managing procurement processes.

Role Responsibilities
  • Strategically source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services for construction projects.
  • Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and associated risks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project budgets and timelines are met.
  • Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, including supplier selection, contract management, and payment processes.
