Job summary

A food and beverage establishment in Selangor is seeking a Commis for its Central Kitchen. The ideal candidate should have at least SPM/ STPM and some experience in food or beverage service, although fresh graduates are welcome. Responsibilities include preparing menu items, ensuring operations run smoothly, and performing cleaning duties. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve menu items in accordance with production requirements.
  • Ensure day to day operation runs smoothly according to the SOP.
  • Perform basic cleaning duties and ensure work stations are properly sanitized.
  • Receive deliveries and verify that all ordered items are of good quality.
  • Take inventory of restaurant supplies and notify the supervisor of low supplies.
  • Plate and present meal items as per the Sous Chef's instructions.
  • Carry out other duties as required by management.

  • Prepare and serve menu items (bagels, all day breakfast, pasta & sourdough pizza) in accordance with production requirements.
  • Ensure day to day operation runs smoothly accordance to the SOP
  • Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that work stations and kitchen are properly sanitized.
  • Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality.
  • Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
  • Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
  • Plating and presenting meal items as per the Sous Chef instructions.
  • Carry out any other duties as required by management
