Oversee multiple IT teams or domains, often across regions or business units.
Responsible for strategic planning, budget oversight, and aligning IT initiatives with business goals. Leads organizational transformation, talent development, and innovation efforts. Represents IT in executive forums and strategic planning sessions. Accountable for compliance, risk management, and governance.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Design and deploy technologies that advance organizational performance, ensuring all initiatives are consistent with company objectives and core values.
- Lead the strategic planning, architecture, development, and upkeep of IT applications for all parts of the business.
- Develop organizational strategies and roadmaps that align with corporate strategies.
- Collaboration & Influence
- Work directly with business leaders to provide insights that support company strategies and goals.
- As a member of the global IT team, collaborate internationally and help deliver region‑wide solutions.
- Operational Oversight
- Monitor, evaluate, and guide managers and team leaders in performance and professional development, including setting business targets and personal goals.
- Control costs through budget establishment and management, supporting corporate goals.
- Review project feasibility studies, establish work standards, and interpret organizational policies and goals for subordinates.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Lead major transformational projects within IT to support strategic moves.
- Direct continuous improvement activities to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies to improve IT performance and profitability.
- Governance & Compliance
- Oversee contract negotiations with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Communicate with executives regarding costs, value, and risk potential of new IT projects.
- Create and implement IT policies, protocols, and standards, ensuring compliance with internal controls, business ethics, laws, and confidentiality requirements.
- Employees are expected to abide by all internal control & compliance practices to: safeguard assets from theft and misuse, ensure segregation of duties to minimize fraud, comply with business ethics, applicable laws and regulations, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and periodically reconcile physical assets to accounting records.
Skills & Abilities
- Strategic Business Insight: Deep understanding of complex, cross‑functional business processes and the ability to translate them into effective IT solutions that align with the region’s goals.
- ERP Implementation Expertise: Proven hands‑on experience leading large‑scale ERP deployments, including planning, execution, stakeholder alignment, and post‑implementation optimization.
- Global Collaboration & Negotiation: Skilled in designing and negotiating unified solutions across diverse cultural and functional teams, ensuring alignment and buy‑in across geographies.
- Executive Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to executives, teams, and external partners, often in sensitive or confidential contexts.
- Project & Resource Management: Hands‑on proficiency with project management methodologies and tools to drive high‑impact initiatives, optimize team performance, and ensure timely delivery.
- Operational Leadership: Strong administrative and organizational capabilities to lead large, skilled teams, manage departmental budgets, and oversee transformational IT programs.
- Talent Development: Ability to identify, attract, and nurture top talent, fostering a high‑performance culture across international teams.
- Analytical & Problem‑Solving Acumen: Advanced analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills to navigate ambiguity, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement.

Education & Experience
- Possess a BA/BS in Information Technology or equivalent field.
- A minimum of 6 years experience and a proven track record in the IT field in positions that are commensurate with supervisory/management positions.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP and/or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile (Scrum and/or Kanban) environment is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in information technologies and systems analysis to evaluate the opportunities and risks associated with technology initiatives and proposals.
Direct subordinates include managers and various support staff.
General office environment. May require some foreign and domestic travel.
